Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Consul Engineering & Architecture, we are committed to providing professional engineering, architectural, and consulting services with the highest standards of quality and transparency.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing the cancellation of services and any applicable refunds.

By engaging our services, requesting consultations, or entering into a service agreement with us, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

1. Service Cancellation

Clients may request the cancellation of a service by submitting a written request via email or through official communication channels.

Cancellation requests must include:

  • Client Name

  • Project Reference Number (if applicable)

  • Contact Information

  • Reason for Cancellation

Cancellation requests will be reviewed and processed based on the project stage and contractual obligations.

2. Consultation Services

For paid consultations:

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled consultation may be eligible for a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled consultation may not qualify for a refund.

  • Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice may result in the consultation fee being non-refundable.

3. Engineering & Design Projects

Due to the professional nature of engineering and architectural services, refunds are subject to the progress of the work completed.

Before Project Commencement

If cancellation occurs before any work has started, the client may be eligible for a refund of payments made, excluding any administrative or processing fees.

After Project Commencement

If work has already begun, refunds will be calculated based on:

  • Work completed

  • Resources allocated

  • Design development stages

  • Site visits conducted

  • Third-party costs incurred

Any completed work delivered to the client remains chargeable and non-refundable.

4. Non-Refundable Services

The following services are generally non-refundable once initiated or delivered:

  • Architectural Concepts and Drawings

  • Engineering Calculations

  • Structural Design Documents

  • Interior Design Concepts

  • Facade Design Services

  • Technical Reports

  • Site Inspections

  • Feasibility Studies

  • Permit and Authority Submission Services

  • Customized Consulting Services

5. Client-Requested Project Suspension

If a client requests a temporary suspension of a project:

  • Work completed up to the suspension date remains payable.

  • Any project reactivation may be subject to revised schedules, fees, or resource availability.

  • Extended suspension periods may result in project closure and additional restart fees.

6. Delays Caused by Clients

Consul Engineering & Architecture shall not be responsible for project delays resulting from:

  • Failure to provide required information.

  • Delayed approvals.

  • Delayed payments.

  • Changes in project requirements.

  • Regulatory or authority-related delays beyond our control.

Such delays do not constitute grounds for a refund.

7. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

  • Processing times may vary depending on banking institutions and payment providers.

  • Administrative, transaction, and third-party fees may be deducted where applicable.

8. Force Majeure

Consul Engineering & Architecture shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to perform services due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Government restrictions

  • Regulatory changes

  • Utility failures

  • Pandemics

  • Civil disturbances

Refunds in such circumstances will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

9. Disputes

Any dispute regarding refunds or cancellations should first be submitted in writing to our management team for review.

We are committed to resolving concerns fairly and professionally whenever possible.

10. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any updates will be posted on this page and become effective immediately upon publication.
